Ivory Brown Granite.
Ivory Brown Granite from Andhra Pradesh is a warm, earthy stone in tones of ivory, tan, and brown — a naturally welcoming granite well suited to residential kitchens, bathrooms, and interior applications where a warm, unpretentious stone character is required.
About Brown
Ivory Brown Granite is quarried in Andhra Pradesh's granite zone, where iron-tinted Precambrian granitoids produce the warm ivory-tan colouring characteristic of the stone. The quarry has been in export production for over a decade and supplies consistent block quality for gangsaw slab and tile processing. FOB Mundra / Nhava Sheva. Origin and specifications verified by Gemarix.
Geological Profile
Ivory Brown is a medium-grained granite dominated by warm cream-to-tan potassium feldspar, quartz, and plagioclase, with biotite and hornblende as the principal dark-mineral phases. The warm tan and brown tones result from iron-oxide tinting of the feldspar matrix. Brown biotite clusters distributed through the pale matrix provide the stone's characteristic mineral contrast. Moderate porosity requires sealing for kitchen and bathroom applications.
Color & Character
Ivory Brown Granite presents a warm ivory to light tan background with brown biotite and hornblende clusters distributed across the surface. The mineral clusters range from fine speckle to small irregular patches, creating a soft, earthy texture without strong contrast. The overall tone is neutral and warm — inviting and natural in character, without the strong visual activity of more complex patterned granites. On polished surfaces, the feldspar matrix develops a gentle warmth and the stone's overall palette appears slightly richer.

Care & Maintenance
Ivory Brown Granite should be sealed with an impregnating sealer at installation and re-sealed every 12 months in kitchen and bathroom use. The warm ivory background can show oil staining if left unsealed. Clean with pH-neutral stone cleaner and address spills promptly. Avoid acidic cleaners. Polished Ivory Brown maintains its warm tone under normal conditions.
