Ivory Gold Granite.
Ivory Gold Granite from Karnataka bridges the gap between ivory-cream and gold granites — a warm, softly golden stone with natural brown-gold mineral inclusions that creates an elegant, understated luxury surface for countertops and interior applications.
About Gold
Ivory Gold Granite is quarried in Karnataka's central granite belt, where moderately iron-enriched Precambrian intrusives produce the warm ivory to soft-gold colouring characteristic of the stone. The stone occupies a distinct tonal position between the paler Colonial Cream family and the richer Imperial Gold varieties. It is processed to gangsaw slabs and calibrated tiles for export. Geological Profile
Ivory Gold is a medium-grained granite dominated by warm ivory-gold potassium feldspar, quartz, and plagioclase, with biotite and hornblende as dark-mineral phases. The soft gold toning results from iron-bearing orthoclase feldspar at a concentration below that of the deeper Imperial or Ghibli gold varieties. Dark mineral clusters appear as warm brown-grey bodies against the ivory-gold matrix. Moderate porosity requires sealing for food-contact and wet environments.
Color & Character
Ivory Gold Granite has a warm ivory to pale gold matrix with distributed clusters of brown-grey biotite and hornblende set against the softly golden background. The overall tone is lighter and softer than the deeper amber golds but warmer than the Ivory Fantasy and Colonial Cream families — occupying a comfortable middle ground that works across a wide range of interior palettes. On polished surfaces, the gold undertone in the feldspar becomes more apparent, giving the stone a gentle luminosity.

Care & Maintenance
Ivory Gold Granite should be sealed with an impregnating sealer at installation and re-sealed every 12 months in kitchen and bathroom applications. The warm ivory-gold matrix can show oil staining if left unsealed. Clean with pH-neutral stone cleaner and address spills promptly. Avoid acidic cleaners. Polished Ivory Gold retains its soft warm depth under normal conditions.
