Moon White Granite is quarried in Karnataka's Dharwar Craton, where stable leucocratic Precambrian intrusives produce consistently white granite with minimal dark-mineral content. Geological Profile
Moon White is a fine-to-medium grained leucocratic granite dominated by white to pale grey quartz, potassium feldspar, and plagioclase, with very low biotite content providing the fine scattered speckle. The high combined quartz-feldspar proportion produces the consistently bright white background. The fine grain size and even mineral distribution give Moon White a more refined, crystalline surface texture compared to coarser white granites. Moderate porosity warrants sealing for wet and food-contact uses.

Moon White Granite has a bright, clean white background with a very fine, evenly distributed grey-black speckle from scattered biotite grains. The stone is whiter and slightly cooler in tone than warm whites like Colonial or French White, and lighter and less patterned than Kashmir White. The fine grain texture gives the surface a refined, crystalline quality. On polished surfaces, the quartz content produces a clear, bright reflectivity — the overall effect being a clean, professional white with subtle natural depth.

Care & Maintenance
