Paradiso Classic Granite.
Paradiso Classic Granite from Karnataka is one of the most distinctive and sought-after natural stones in the Indian range — a deep purple-black to dark plum matrix with intricate gold and copper mineral veining that creates a surface of exceptional visual drama.
About Classic
Paradiso Classic Granite is quarried in Karnataka, where specific mafic-felsic Precambrian intrusives produce the characteristic deep purple-black matrix with gold-copper veining. The stone's dramatic colouring is unique to this geological formation and has made it one of Karnataka's most internationally recognised premium granite exports. It has been in supply for over two decades and is well established in luxury countertop and architectural markets globally. FOB Mundra / Nhava Sheva. Origin and specifications verified by Gemarix.
Geological Profile
Paradiso Classic is a coarse-grained charnockitic granite or granulite composed of dark purplish potassium feldspar (orthoclase with trace manganese producing the purple tone), quartz, plagioclase, hypersthene, and biotite, with accessory pyrite, chalcopyrite, and iron-oxide minerals. The gold and copper veining results from secondary mineralisation — iron-oxide, pyrite, and chalcopyrite following mineral grain boundaries and micro-fractures through the dark matrix. The relatively low porosity and high density reflect the granulite-grade metamorphic history of the host rock.
Color & Character
Paradiso Classic Granite presents a deep purple-black to dark plum matrix with intricate gold and copper-coloured veining that threads through the dark ground in irregular, organic patterns. The contrast between the near-black purple matrix and the warm metallic veining creates a surface of exceptional visual complexity and luxury — genuinely unlike any other natural stone available from India or elsewhere. On polished surfaces, the dark matrix achieves a very deep, almost lacquer-like reflectivity, and the gold-copper veins develop a metallic shimmer. Each slab carries a unique distribution of the veining.

Care & Maintenance
Paradiso Classic Granite has relatively low porosity and good inherent stain resistance. Apply an impregnating sealer at installation for kitchen and bathroom applications, refreshed every 18 to 24 months. The metallic mineral veining is natural and stable. Clean with pH-neutral stone cleaner and dry polished surfaces promptly. Avoid acidic products. The polished finish and gold-copper veining retain their character under normal conditions.
