About Multi
Red Multi Granite is quarried in Karnataka's Precambrian granite belt, where iron-rich multiple-feldspar granites produce the characteristic multi-colour composition of red, brown, cream, and dark mineral phases. The stone has been in export production for over a decade and is processed to gangsaw slabs and calibrated tiles at Karnataka units. FOB Mundra / Nhava Sheva. Geological Profile
Red Multi is a coarse-grained granite with elevated iron content across multiple feldspar phases — red to pink potassium feldspar, cream plagioclase, quartz, and dark hornblende-biotite clusters. The multi-colour character results from the coexistence of differently tinted feldspar varieties within the same intrusive body. Red and pink zones are produced by iron-oxide-rich orthoclase, cream zones by iron-poor plagioclase, and brown tones by iron-bearing biotite alteration products. Moderate porosity requires sealing for wet and food-contact applications.

The red and brown feldspar zones dominate the warm background, with cream and lighter mineral bodies providing contrast and dark hornblende-biotite clusters punctuating the composition. The overall effect is warm, busy, and organic — a stone with considerable natural character and colour variety. On polished surfaces, the red and brown zones develop an intense warmth, and the overall colour palette becomes richer and deeper.
