Sadarahalli Grey is a medium-grained granite with a balanced mineralogy of grey plagioclase feldspar, quartz, potassium feldspar, hornblende, and biotite. The mid-grey colour results from the near-equal contribution of light and dark mineral phases. The stone's characteristic mineral texture — a fine to medium even speckle — reflects the regular distribution of dark and light minerals across the granitic matrix. Moderate porosity is standard for this granite family and sealing is recommended for wet-contact applications.

Color & Character

Sadarahalli Grey Granite presents a consistent medium grey background with a fine, even speckle of darker hornblende-biotite and lighter feldspar-quartz grains. The surface is regular and uniform — no prominent veining, clustering, or directional pattern — making it a highly predictable specification material for large-area applications. The stone's distinguished reliability as a quarry source is reflected in the consistent colour match between slabs from the same production run. On polished surfaces, the grey matrix achieves a clean, professional reflectivity.

Care & Maintenance

Sadarahalli Grey Granite should be sealed with an impregnating sealer at installation and re-sealed every 18 months in kitchen and bathroom applications. The mid-grey surface manages staining better than white granites. Clean with pH-neutral stone cleaner; dry promptly on polished surfaces to prevent water marks. Avoid abrasive and acidic cleaners.
